Rocky thank you for sharing your story!! So glad things are better for you now! Sorry you went through all you had to go through!! Thanks for paying it forward with trying to help the rest of us. I do try to go back through post and look for things close to what I am experiencing. Basically, I feel like I have had it pretty easy so far. I have had that early stall and knew it was something to expect. Did post a couple of times basically just as a vent that I was seeing it happen and finally came through it. I love these boards and so glad I found them prior to my wls. I have learned a lot just from reading them months before I had my surgery!!

Thank you for sharing your story, Rocky.  I love your posts.  I can't imagine how you and the other vets keep from getting snippy or snarky at the repetitive questions but I learn something with every response.

Thanks!

The VBG was one of several surgeries no longer done, that put people through living hell. I'm glad you no longer have to live with that, Dawn.

Whenever I see someone who is intent on getting one of the newer and experimental surgeries, I cringe. If they knew what you had gone through, maybe they'd think twice. I don't think I would even consider a non-emergency procedure until they'd done 40 or 50,000 of them.
