Three questions for those who have had WLS surgery

I just wanted to say one more thing: the hair loss sucked -- the loose skin is sometimes a bummer -- the pain afterwards was crappy and having smaller breasts has taken adjustment ... BUT ... not having insulin dependent diabetes, getting rid of the sleep apnea, having normal blood pressure and perfect cholesterol numbers is pretty fantastic. So is my husband carrying me over the threshold for the first time in our 17 years together on our last anniversary. Or riding a roller coaster for the first time with my 9 year old son last summer. Just last week upon my picking my son up from school he said to me, "I feel so proud when all my friends from my class say how pretty you are now." I never knew they used to comment on my weight until then -- when he confessed that he never told me because it hurt him and thought it might hurt me, too. So yeah, losing some hair sucks -- but it's nothing compared to what you will gain. Nothing.
