Just curious how everyone feels about the changes that are being made at MFP? I was excited when I learned that Underarmour had taken them over, but now its getting frustrating to have to get through their stupid premium screen to access the website. I'm still getting used to changes in the APP and now the ad's are becoming obtrusive. I had to shut MFP down and restart it to get past an ad.
I'd hate to change since MFP has been my go to for food logging, but I was wondering:
1) Do you like the changes?
2) Has anyone upgraded to premium, and if so, do you think its worth it
3) I'm not really anxious to change, but what are the alternatives
Have great day
I didn't noticed any changes on MFP. Also I didn't see any Underarmour (whatever that is). What is a "premium screen"? I been signing in to MFP for about a year and a half now without a problem. I don't use their app(s). I just use MFP for logging in food/other intake, check-in with friend, etc.... I do the same here on ObeistyHelp, etc....

Ive been on MFP for 2 yrs and havent seen any changes. I kinda like it the way it is. Im anxious to see the changes coming to OH. Its kinda hard sometimes to get around on this site as far as changing things on your profile. I uploaded a new pic for my profile. It shows up when I go to edit my profile but doesnt show up when I post. I had a heck of a time changing my ticker and getting rid of my old one. Maybe its just me, lol.
I don't notice any chances, either, except the message boards are now available on the app which is nice. I love mfp.

I never upgraded to premium. I use the app so I haven't noticed any ads. I like some of the changes like the pie chart. I see it's broken down into the calories eaten during each meal as well as the regular pie macros chart. I like the nutrients graph so I can see how far to reach fiber or Vitamin goals.
I didn't like that the water isn't first listed on the food diary page like it used to be & now I have to go to the home page then add to diary, to force it back on the food diary page again, but that's a minor thing.

Here is the pop up ad I get when I first log into MFP during the day.
Here are some screen shots of the app
I get this when I log in via my mac but not on the mobile app. I use it everyday -- religiously (actually obsessively) and have been through several cycles of change. Overall, I like the new changes, but I have no intentions of upgrading to the premium. It's 9.99 a month or 49.99 a year. WTF??? I am not THAT obsessive. I mean, my family YMCA membership is only 20 bucks more!
The only thing I hate about MyFitnessPal is that it *****es at me for eating too little and promotes the "starvation mode" myth.
I don't have that on my mobile app yet -- perhaps you're one that is in beta testing first?

I use the website almost exclusively, and haven't noticed any changes.
