Thanks for replying. Sometimes I like to eat everything together. Well I can handle chicken and beef on its own. I have learned to cook better so I don't get that gaggy chicken beef taste..lol... i am not getting filled up. Guess I need another fill. Have to be careful cause I don't want to go through what I did last time.

Worried about  Fukushima and fish now.

I live in Canada and they put the safety limit up for radiation. The West coast marine life is dying. Quit a disaster and I see many getting sicker over the years.

Thanks for reply. When were you banded? Did u have any troubles?

If red meat bothers you (just guessing here as you didn't specify), look at getting in more protein from vegetable sources.  I will make chili with not only ground turkey, but garbanzo beans, etc.

So much of your diet is what works for you.  I can do some red meat, but chicken breast is too dry for me.  I love a nice lamb shank, and chili is definitely one of my go-to meals, as is any shrimp, scallops, or tuna.

Yes, i like Chili to go from Wendys.  Not sure if that would be called mush food. But on the run or busy that is what I would pick up. Sometimes in the moring I don't want to eat meat. So yougurt , fruit and granolo with nuts in it. Doctor called it mush food. Well sometimes Not sure if going for Turkey bacon, susage is ok twice a week.

What's your thoughts on those type of meats sometimes.

thankyou for your comments

Wendy's chili with grated cheese and salsa was a "go-to" for me in the pureed stage, and after.

I like to use turkey bacon as a flavoring in black-eyed peas, and I cut smoked turkey sausage into coins and microwave with mixed winter veggies.  I could make one of the smoked sausages packages go for three or four meals.  I see no problem with eating these meats twice a week, just making sure you chewchewchew.

I agree with the others lean protein first, veggies and then carbs if really still hungry. Myself I usually only had room for my protein and veggies and rarely carbs. I cook most of my meats in the crock pot so they are nice and moist. I always only took one good multi vitamin a day.

I don't know anything about your doctor or his clinic's business, it seems odd that they would hid info, not sure what that would accomplish. You might try posting this on the Ontario board and see if someone there has more info. As I said tho the diet is still the same as far as I know! Good luck!

HI, I thought this was the Canada site. But it is looking I am trying to do what you are all doing. I just don't like to eat animals a lot. This new spiriutal thing with me. Well in this reality that is what we were brought up to eat. So I can't just go without protein.

I also want to keep away from gmo foods and chemically raised meat.. Factory Farming. I was raised on a farm and know all about the meat industries. and produce.  Now watching how much fish I eat cause of Fukashima.

This Surgeon, had some trouble and I think a patient almost died cause he didn't tend to her properly. This was 2 years after I gave up on it. There was a right up in the papers about him. I had problems  cause i was too tight and wasn't doing the proper way. Now doing it better. I do think I need another fill.

Thanks for your comments.  Yeah I figure Vitamins which I take which keeps me very healthy Haven't been sick in over 5 years.  My Doctor told me I didn't need any..lol  . I don't like him much either. Cause I know he was hiding his past behavior. Dance around my questioning.

You do t have to eat meat.  There are some very successful vegetarians.  But you will not get a feeling of fullness from sliders like chilli and yoghurt.

Highest 290, Banded - 248   Lowest 139 (too thin!). Comfort zone 155-165.

Happily banded since May 2006.  Regain of 28lbs 2013-14.  ALL GONE!

But some has returned! Up to 175, argh! Off we go again,
