WLS and "Leaky Gut"

I'm interested in knowing about resources and opinions about the effect of WLS on gut bacteria. There is so much research emerging now about how vital gut flora, etc. are to SO many diseases.

Hello Lucy, There may be alot of research out there, but not how it relates to WLS.  You may want to go to search (magnifying glass on right at top of page) and enter: leaky gut.  It looks like several other people had the same concerns as you did.  You may also want to talk to your surgeon/nut about how it relates to WLS.  Thanks for posting, as I was not really familar with this condition.  Good luck!
