3 wk PO & head hunger is winning today

I am 3 weeks and 1 day PO.  I am due to start my cycle in 9 days and I'm always ravenous this time of the month.  I have eaten every 3 hours so far today and it's not because I'm hungry (at least not in my stomach) :(

Are you seeing a therapist?  Mine has really helped me to figure out how to redirect my mindless eating at times like these.

No, not yet. What kinds of therapist do you see? Someone that specializes in addiction in general?

I know that many see therapists who specialize in disordered eating.  Mine doesn't, but she has done quite a bit of work with people with other addictions.  It's been very positive for me!

I agree, I don't what was going on yesterday.  I think I was just self-destructing because I was in a bad place with my lack of progress.  Today I am doing much better, getting in my liquids and working towards the protein.
