Thank you for posting.  The problem is real.  There is a forum here on OH called "Crossing to Transfer Addictions."  We have over 1000 members in that group, although it is very quiet.  I fear people are suffering in silence with a tremendous amount of fear, guilt and shame.  I also started a FB group called Transfer Addictions After WLS about 6 months ago.  That group has over 350 members, and 12 people joined in the last 2 days alone!!!  That group is a little more supportive and active.  I transferred my food addiction to alcohol about 16 months post surgery.  I got sober in 2010, and then struggled with a sex addiction and return to compulsive eating.  I now have 5 years sober, and almost 2 years of abstinence (from compulsive eating) and sexual sanity.  People need to know it happens A LOT.  If it has happened to someone reading this, please know that you are not alone.  Help is available and a life of freedom, joy and peace is completely attainable.

Blessings, Jill
