Noisy Stomach?
The noise is coming from the intestines not from the pouch. Some of it may be gas, but some of it may be from food that is not chewed sufficiently or just from the body's reaction to unprocessed food reaching the lower part of the intestine (because of the bypass). It is extremely common for RNYers. Often it gets better with time, but some people find that it continues indefinitely.
It also often happens more with certain foods than others, so if you can identify the culprit (sugar alcohols in SF foods, or white carbs are notorious).

You don't drown by falling in the water. You drown by staying there.
I'm for sure having a vocal tummy. I'm five weeks out too and it's getting more frequent. Doesn't bother me much but I can see where it would be troublesome, and it does mess with my head because my pre-op mind keeps thinking that it is hunger and wants to eat. I'm fighting a pre-op battle with a post op body and it is HARD.
I'm 7 yrs out, and still have loud rumblings. Sometimes it's so loud, it sounds like thunder. LOL 😂
Whenever I eat or drink anything, I hear the rumblings. I just know that if I'm going somewhere that will be quiet, I'll wait to eat afterwards. Live and learn!
I deal with it, it's just one of those cons of RNY surgery.
You'll be ok.

When people hear stomach noises, what they are actually hearing is the stomach emptying into the small intestine through a small opening like a sink drain only smaller.
If you chew a lot of gum, eat food that is quickly digested, you might hear more gurgling. Being nervous will do it too.
Try to eat a little bit of protein with each meal. Protein takes longer to digest so it will stay in your stomach longer. And relax!
