help! I know this sounds ridiculous, but I think something is very wrong!
I have an appt next friday with him, he comes out once a month to see patients, it's like an assembly line though. .. I just want to have questions ready to ask him and to address in the 5 minutes I actually get one on one time with him...I don't want to be blown off again... I want to be ready to have questions about this all and possible things that may be wrong that I can bring up to him and not just tell me as long as I'm getting my protein in I'm fine...
I would not wait for him to come to me. I would hop in the car, make the drive, and see him in El Paso. If he is too busy for a proper appointment in which he listens and addresses concerns, I would look elsewhere for another doctor.
This is your life and health, and you must advocate for yourself.

It seems like you are getting off on the "skinny". You need not just urgent medical care but psychiatric care as well. No time to be selfish after you brought children into this world that you are responsible to take care of.
Please get help ASAP. Walk into your local emergency room if need be. Those babies need not have to end up taking care of you. Are you taking your vitamins?
Best wishes and strong health to you.
You are absolutely right! I definitely don't want that! I have 5 to boot!
I really feel like there is some kind of obstruction. .. I mean even with just yogurt it feels like it's getting stuck right in my chest.. and it just sits there till I'm sick to my stomach and vomiting it back up...literally everything that goes down if it's not fluid comes back up, I've continued to tell the dietician this and her main focus is the protein. ..as long as I'm getting the protein shakes down she's just not even blinking twice about it all... there has to be something just not right that I can point out to the Dr. That it could be "x,y,or z" for him to actually check it And not blow me off like he continues to do...
I'm not even going to answer the vitamin Question. .. yikes...bad, bad, bad memory
What I'm surprised at is that your surgeon hasn't spotted it before now. The "stuck" feeling, and then vomiting everything is a classic sign.
The procedure itself is easily and quickly done under anesthesia. It stretches the stoma, you are on liquids for a couple of days to allow healing, and then you should be good to go. It is not completely uncommon for an EDG to be redone, but you'll feel much better when it's done.
