I had sleeve surgery on 2/25/2015 I am down 48 lbs and thats great but I had horrible pain in my toes over the weekend. Has anyone else ever experienced this. I wondering if its post op related or something else weird going on.

Thanks

Are you getting in all your water?  Maybe its dehydration?  Check with your surgeon and see what they think.  Good Luck to you

My husband suffered several sever episodes of gout during the first year post-op.  Are any of the toes red or appear a little swollen or imflamed?   If yes, you could very well be having a gout attack.

I woul definitely ask your doctor about this if it continues.

Yes that's exactly what it looks like around the big toe - it's awful - thanks for your insight and help

Rebecca - call your doctor.  There is medicine they can prescribe to help you with this.  And then the next time it comes on you'll have it on hand and can start taking it right away.  I understand - it's SUPER painful! :-(

Sounds like gout. The big toe is the most common place for gout to attack. It's considered to be the most painful form of arthritis! Hope you feel better soon.
