Endometrial Ablation on Friday

I had mine done a few years ago, I was put out for it and like others have mentioned mild cramping for the first day or so. I did have spotting for several weeks after the procedure then mostly light cycles after that until just a few months ago in which it's been MIA. Sending good thoughts for a speedy recovery.

Also been there done that before RNY. It was a God-send. I was anemic all of the time because of heavy and never ending periods. I have now gone thru menopause without having any more periods after the procedure. Well worth it! Just rest and take it easy for a couple days. You'll do fine.

I don't know if this new comment will bump this up, but here goes.  For those who had the ablation and responded (thank you so much)... Yesterday I got my period exactly when it was due.  It's a normal, horrible, period too.  Did this happen to you too?  I've got a call in to the doctor.  So bummed out that this didn't work :(
