Has anyone riden a roller coaster 4 weeks post op from gastric sleeve?

There's roller coasters...and then there's ROLLER COASTERS!  Right? :-)

If it's simply riding a little one at a local amusement park that doesn't jerk you around a lot then you'd probably be fine.  But if you're talking a high-speed, yank-you-around, whipping you upside-down with your body crashing into the person next to you kinda of roller coaster?   Then absoutely not - wait until you are further out and healed up better.  No sense borrowing trouble...

If though you cant see them your insides have been cut and stitched back together.  Not a good time for roller coasters or anything else that can mess your body up.  Take plenty of time to heal.

Ummm, no.

Since my surgeon suggested that I wait at least six weeks for strenuous exercise, I wouldn't risk developing a hernia for a ride on a rollercoaster.  Like food, rollercoasters will always be around.

I think the merry-go-round would be safer.
