Can skin ever un-stretch on its own?

I noticed this too. It's sad - I got so much help from OH back in the day. But a lot of us moved to Facebook and I still go there regularly. Just not the forum as much anymore.

Ha ha ha! Kim, at first glance I thought you were nursing the baby!

I thought, Wow, there's and enlightened woman for ya!

And no, Kim,  I don't think that is how I would describe you...I'd say that you are an outstanding looking grandma. Congrats on the new baby!

And now I'm too curious about your before and afters so I'm sending you a friend request right now... or as soon as I remember how to do it. I gotta come here more often.

You don't necessarily have to change it to a dog...I love cats, too.

Your skin can and will take a little bit to tighten up.  It might not tighten all the way, but it will tighten some.  Its one of two reasons why most doctors want you to wait a year before having plastics.  It gives the skin time to shrink back as much as they are going to and you get a better sense of what other changes will take place.  Congratz on our weight loss!!!

Thanks, that's good to know. That gives me plenty of time to save up too, hahaha.

"waddle":  a walking motion which is from side-to-side while making slow forward progress.

"wattle": a hanging flesh piece under a chin, such as a turkey's beak.  May also occur in humans or other animals.

No, it very rarely shrinks by itself, but there are good procedures now which can help.  Check out a good plastic surgeon.  You owe it to yourself.

Thank you; my English teacher father would never forgive me for that.  ;-)

Can a balloon ever really deflate and go back to it's origional state. Sadly no.

Ditto to all everyone said.  It all depends on the amount of weight you have to lose, age and genetics. Sadly I am not aware of any snapping back.  It was suggested to me to wait at least a year after you reach goal before you have PS...

Good Luck to you!

I'm 34 and am having a bit of the same problem but only when I jut out my chin and lean my head back. I get some interesting wrinkles that way. But at this point the skin's even a bit loose on my calves when I flex them.
