Knowing your full point

I was enjoying my Ricotta bake (Thanks Shelly) and thinking this is good I might have to get some more. Then I took a deep breath with 2 bites left on my plate. I know from experience that is the sign which means I am full. I set my plate to the side and savor the fact that I am full. I can have more for dinner.

Congratulations on finding your STOP point.  It takes a lot of trial and error.  Isn't it nice to be able to push the plate back and feel satisfied but not get sick?  Way to go

that full point is a very useful tool.  I also sigh when I am just about full.  My kids will look at me and tell me I'm done.  If I burp, then I KNOW I need to put the rest away!  I've had WLS friends who sneeze, or break out into a sweat.  Nice to have a physical sign that doesn't include pain and suffering!

Blessings, Jill

I tend to get the hiccups when I reach the full point.  I have to take a sip of water to get them to stop.

Sneezing, feeling flushed, hiccuping...those are my signs.  I'll have to pay attention on whether or not I do the "sigh" thing.

My High Level Alarm (HLA) is when I get the sniffles.  My nose runs, I stop.

Nothing like some mindfulness, huh?!
