Buy a freezer, and stock up.  Make the four hour trip once a month.  Buy on-line.

May not be convenient, but it's doable.

You've done a great job losing 145 pounds - don't let your success go down the drain.

Good Luck.

Just FYI, she isn't four hours from any shopping. Sterling is only two hours from Denver and only about an hour and a half to Fort Collins...

14 years out; 190 pounds lost, 165 pound loss maintained

Hi Mariame,

I'm just sending you a cyberhug cause it sounds like you need it.

What you describe sounds perfectly logical and normal. Your lifestyle changed and you've had a specific resullt. Good! Now, forgive yourself, breath and realize that is what would happen to ANYONE.  Make the necessary course correction and you'll be back on track.

Its happened to all of us. Welcome to the human condition. You're going to be ok.

I am sorry about your pain etc and hope it gets sorted.

But as to food, this is going to sound harsh but I am afraid you are making excuses! I don't know where you live and I am not personally American and don't live in America. But empty shops?  Don't you have a freezer?

You need some serious planning.

Highest 290, Banded - 248   Lowest 139 (too thin!). Comfort zone 155-165.

Happily banded since May 2006.  Regain of 28lbs 2013-14.  ALL GONE!

But some has returned! Up to 175, argh! Off we go again,

You can make a plan to get the healthy foods you need or you can keep making excuses and gain all your weight back. The choice is yours.
