My pet peeve. The words "losing" weight

As I'm sitting here growing more reflective I realize what's really bugging me.  I really hate the word "losing"!!!! To me that signifies something I've lost and am hoping to find or get back.  Now I'm about to embark on what is apparently a treaterous journey and not for the faint of heart.   I plan on DISPOSING of this weight, never to be seen again!! I will not be using this word losing in my vocabulary! Call me weird or whatever that's just me.   So I start my opti next week.  Literally on April fools day but I don't take it as a joke.   It's darn serious to me.   Wish me luck!

A "treaterous" journey? What is that? I'm trying to fill in the blanks... treacherous?

Good luck!

I always shudder a bit at the phrase "gone forever" because believe me, it is very easy for those pounds you lose, dispose of (whatever cute term you coin)  to come back to visit and bring a few of their friends!!!!

Good luck!
