I came across an interesting study published on PubMed regarding personality and eating styles/food choices.  Thoughts?

Very interesting Cathy!!  Thanks for posting this.  I'd love to read the whole thing.

I'm glad you liked it too.  It gives an interesting perspective of personality and the correlation of eating styles and food choices.  I'd never thought of someone's personality having a connection of eating styles and food choices.

"Results suggest that neurotic and emotionally unstable individuals seem to adopt counter-regulatory external or emotional eating and eat high-energy dense sweet and savory foods."

That certainly explains me to a T, and it may also explain why I (and many others) have so much better success when engaging in therapy during and after the WLS process.

You make a very good point about therapy especially after WLS!  Thanks!
