OK...So why does honey work with tea but not with coffee??
Ok I'm not a smarty pants nor a Mister nor a communist... LOL...
but i enjoy(ed) honey in my coffee. Past tense, because I am limiting carbs both pre-op and post-op as a part of my weight loss strategy, so I am doing without until at least maintenance. My husband always put honey in his coffee and once I tried it I loved it. An acquired taste, perhaps?
I do know people who put honey in their coffee. I'm going to tell them that they're communists! 
My dad used to accuse me of "communism" because I refused to eat steak. For years I thought that the definition of a communist was a person *****fused to eat steak. It's his fault I did so poorly in history class.
Have you tried honey in your coffee? Maybe you'll love it. (Or maybe you'll projectile vomit.) Give it a try and get back to us.
