This Is Who People Magazine Should Put On Their WL Cover
He did the video to get attention for his efforts to get people to give him money for plastic surgery. You know, the same plastic surgeries that so many of the rest of us scrimped, saved, and/or took out loans to be able to afford....
That hardly makes him a hero in my book!

You don't drown by falling in the water. You drown by staying there.
Exactly. Many if us here share our stories to actually help others but did not expect money.
I guess I did this all wrong, dammit!!

I can't stand this constant begging that happens now. Gofundme is great for some situations. I've contributed who have undergone catastrophic situations, like a child stricken with cancer or a house that burns down. I would never give money to someone who wants plastics after WLS.
I want to replace my old Yamaha with a new Harley. I guess I'll start my own gofundme!

yes but he is a young man and was a teen when he chose to have surgery, and obviously emotionally overwhelemed. if he wants to ask for money and people want to give it i see no reason to resent him for it because others "scrimp and save." any of us are free to do the same on the web for whatever reason we want. if people give, they give. and his steps, at least for him, are bold. i think he is a good example for WLS for young people, and its effectiveness
