Beware of soy protein and the hormonal effects.  Egg protein is my go-to powder because whey gives me horrible gas.

I was looking at egg powder protein a few days ago at Sprouts.  Another poster suggested hemp protein.  I like hemp hearts in salads so I might like it.  I'll have to look into the hormonal effects of soy.  I'm just now starting to add more soy into my diet so I may need to switch to something else.  Thanks for the heads up.  I'll look into it.

Keep in mind that a serving size for most cheese is 1 oz, so for those of us who have had our surgeries, a cup of shredded cheese is 8 servings. It would last me all week, and then some!! I am satiated with a single cheese stick for a snack.

I also don't worry about fat grams in my diet. I don't go out of my way to add them, but I use full fat dairy for cooking, and use full fat cheeses most of the time. We eat such little amounts that, for me anyway, fat content is not a huge issue.

That is true.  It's simply a chart I found and wanted to share.  It contains good information.  Some math skills may be required to fit the information into allowable servings after WLS.  I would need to break out a calculator.  I don't do math in my head very well.

I like to cut the cheese. I do prefer the smelly cheeses.
