10 days post op!
Last day of my anti blood clogging ****! Yippee! My stomach looks like a war zone...But No pain except for the big incision! I have been getting about 70-80 grams of protein in everyday...about 70 oz. of water and about 200 calories....daily....I've been walking 3 times a day totaling about an hour....Im soooooo newby...lol Am I on track? Consult weight was 377....Surgery weight was 358 on March 3rd, and I am 337 today! I'm feeling a lot better as of yesterday!....Any advice on NOT stalling? I just want to see how I can rev this up......I wanna lose as much as I can as soon as I can!
No advice, just wanted to wish you a speedy and full recovery. Do you mean 277 pounds today or did you gain the weight back and are up to 377 again? Sorry for being so blunt, I'm just confused.

Highest weight 208 in 2008 ** VSG 11/27/15 weight 193 ** Current weight 128 ** Goal weight range 100 -110 ** Height - 4'11" ** Age - 49
I'm putting Wheylicious in my water with a powdered crystal light. It's really good....I drink 2 20 ounce bottles of that....then one 23 ounce bottle jus****er....then one 11 ounce premier protein shake. the 2 20 ounce waters have 20 grams of protein = 40 grams and then the premier protein drink has 30 for a total of 70 grams daily....and 74 ounces of liquid.....My dietician would like to see 100 grams of protein ...will take 80 so...i'm still behind 10. Protein helps us heal faster and keep our hair.....hopefully! I am super worried about that stall thing....
I get 30 Premier Protein calories.... then the Wheylicious I add to my water and crystal light is 20 grams....I do that twice....so in a day that is 70....My dietician says he'd like to see 80....so I'm trying harder. I check with my Dr. about those calories because they concerned me too...He says that during the liquid phase he wants me concentrating on getting my water and protein...so I'm betting when I see him this week (2.5 weeks out) he's gonna tell me lets up those calories at week 3...just a guess!
Damn your doing awesome on your intakes to be just a lil over a week post op, heck I'm creaping up on a month and I'm averaging 40-50g of protein 200-400 calories and almost 64oz of liquid but it took 3 weeks to get here so I'll say your above and beyond track!! Good for you! Don't forget to get pleanty of rest and take it easy, when we start to feel better we tend to do more not realizing that our body is still healing because feel better! As for stalling the only way to avoid it is not to weigh yourself everyday because they happen no matter what.
But keep up the good work your rocking!!
