6 month supervised diet calorie intake problems
Hello,
I'm finding it impossible to stay within a 1200-1300 calorie daily limit without feeling hungry all the time. Constant hunger is distracting and infuriating. When I up the caloric intake to 1400-1500 I feel better but sometimes it's a struggle at that level too. I'm getting the recommended amount of liquid through water, coffee, crystal light, etc. Anyone else have this problem? I went down as much as 15 pounds but I've gained a couple of those back.

It's probably because you are eating primarily carbs. Carbs create cravings for more carbs. If you started your day with zero carbs and had some scrambled eggs, your carb craving would drastically decrease.

I was wondering if I could also check out your food diaries, I am almost 7 years post op and I am hungry all the time, nothing seems to help, I lost 210 pounds total and have gained back almost 80 in the last 3 years. I can not seem to lose more than a few pounds to only gain it back. So I hope you do not mind. Thank you for any help you may offer.

Mia is eating 1200 calories and she is preop. You should pull out your origional postop diet plan and/or contact your surgeons office for some help.

Evenings are probably the worst time not because your body is hungry but because your mind is more idle. This is a psychological issue not a physical one, and it probably isn't going to magically disappear after surgery. Well, it will for a while during the period when you don't feel like eating anything, but then it will likely raise it's ugly head again...
