I had heard some things here and their but you are right when you go to research the stats you don't find much.  And I would love to know what is too much?  How little does it take to do damage?  Would you feel comfortable PM'ing me on how much they drank?  I have a few friends and I talk to people daily.

Thanks for responding....  This is something we need to push to the forefront.  I get a sinking feeling it doesn't take much.

Because most of us know that sharing other people's medical information - especially if it's speculation - is not right.   If someone wants to share their story, that's their right, but it is NOT your place to share information on someone else.

MyLadyHeidi - please BE a Lady and don't gossip.  Did you see Leilani's Death Certificate or Autopsy Report?  You shouldn't speculate or spread rumors.  Leilani's post will live on and you show disrespect.  If you want to post about the effects of alcohol, start a new thread - it's inappropriate to do it here.  Actually, it's inappropriate to discuss anyone else's medical history besides your own.
