pre op liquid diet question

I started my pre op liquid diet friday march 6th my surgery is the 16th. Is the pre op liquid diet suppose to make you have bowel movements? Ive only had diarrhea on the 6th havent had any type of bowel movement since.....

Highest 290, Banded - 248 Lowest 139 (too thin!). Comfort zone 155-165.

Happily banded since May 2006. Regain of 28lbs 2013-14. ALL GONE!

But some has returned! Up to 175, argh! Off we go again,

diarrhea IS a bowel movement. It is just a liquid bowel movement,but it IS still stool.

It is normal for some ppl to have diarrhea and some do not. You should be having a stool every couple of days though.
