Post Op Infection

This just happened to me! When you have something removed your body form a seroma. It basically tries to fill the space with fluids. It's not an infection but it needs to be packed and dressed with gauze or iodiform packing in order to heal from the bottom - up. Mine were so big I ended up with a second surgery and a wound vac for a month. I now have daily nurses who come and change my dressings!
