BCBS IL HMO

I just got my refferal it's only for 3 visits? I'm in the beginning stages at loyola. I was expecting a year long refferal? Can any one add insight? It's three visits good till May of this year.

Every insurance company and plan is different, so all you can do is follow what they tell you; others' experiences probably won't be applicable.

If you're unsure, I'd suggest calling customer service-- just use the phone number on the back of the card-- to get more information about the process. You can often find the info in your benefit book as well, check online or ask your HR department.
