In need of a surgical revision

Had gastric bypass done in June 2007 & lost 125lbs in 10 months.  I have kept all but 25-30lbs off successfully over the past 7 1/2 years. but I have been having stomach issues for the last year or so..  Had endoscopy done with regular GI doc & was told I had an ulcer, but he never did any follow up with me.  I then went to the bariatric doctor in my town, although not the same doc that did my surgery as he has retired.  I had another endo done this past Friday, was told that I would need a surgical revision due to a breakdown in my stomach pouch as well as a fistula.  I have not actually spoke with the doctor yet, just the nurse & her relay of the notes from the procedure.  A bit concerned as to the complexity of this procedure & what all it might entail.  I do meet with him next Monday for clarification, but would just like to get some opinions from those who have had this problem.
