Ricotta Bake is the BEST!!!
I started my puréed stage today so I had to make Eggface's Ricotta Bake...OMG...I never had anything like it. Better yet, my sleeve seemed to really like it as well. I'm so exited to start trying all these wonderful recipes for WLS.
Even better, I've lost 21 lbs since I started my pre-op diet 2 1/2 weeks ago.

Eggface is my go-to website for food ideas.
One change I made with the ricotta bake was to use pizza sauce instead of spaghetti sauce. It has less carbs and tastes just as good.

I absolutely love it, I made a big batch last week and froze it in muffin cups. I add crumbled sausage or canned sliced mushrooms (after your stomach heals!) and it's a little different.
Congrats on the loss so far!

I used to eat that for lunch everyday and I recently started missing it and started eating it again. I found I was letting too many carbs back in so I decided to go back to my old favorite.
I'm not much of a cook though so I pretty much simpleized it to make it super easy. I just use ricotta, top with spaghetti sauce and shredding mozzarella and zap in the microwave. Love it! Like eating lasagna without the noodles. I had a bunch of meatloaf I made recently that fell apart when I tried to slice it so I crumble some of that on top.
