P3 Protein Packs??

I keep hearing about these but cannot find them anywhere? A&P's, Shop-Rites, ACME's and Walmarts around me do not carry them? Does anyone know where I might buy them from? In the interim I made up my own pack. I cubed some Chicken breast and Mozzarella cheese. I then added some walnuts, a few olives and cherry tomatoes and put them into small snack bags. I make up around 7 and bring one to work with me everyday for either lunch or in the morning or as a pre-workout meal. Any other ideas for fast healthy snacks-pertinent to WLS- that can be prepared for a week and carried to work? Would LOVE some suggestions! Thanks.

Every Wal-Mart around me carries them. They are in with the Deli Meats and the pepperoni.

Hmmm, I checked there just this morning on way to work. I have 3 Walmarts within 10 miles of me so maybe I'll check another? How are they? Are they worth the cost? Thank you.

To be honest I have never tried them. I just mix up some tuna fish for my lunch and that is way cheaper than those. I would think you could make your own cheaper though. Buy some cool containers. I bet the dollar tree might even have some good ones.

I can find them at Safeway, my local grocery store.  But I'd rather make my own like you - better control over ingredients and quality.

Thanks. Maybe I'll stick to making my own. Any ideas, recipes?

There is an Amish cheese factory near me.  They have pre-made vacuum packed individual serving of: round slice (~3 in) of colby cheese, round slice of pepperoni, and another round slice of colby cheese.  They are over priced, but a good idea.  I make my own.

I also roll organic ham or turkey slice around an organic cheese stick and the use romaine lettuce as a "bun" and put those in ziplocs.  They are great take alongs.

I don't know what P3 protein packs are, but thought I'd tell you about the above "protein sandwiches"  that I make.

Not only will you do better cost wise by making your own, but I also think making your own will taste much better.  I really don't care for the meat in the store bought ones.
