Hi there,

I am six days out from RNY.  Pain is not bad at all now, i seem to have only one spot of pain left right up under my breastbone on the left side.  I am walking a lot.  The protein drinks are not the best i have been adding a little water and ice.  I have to dink pure protein canned shakes, 3 per day.  this will be may 3rd days with 100 gms of protein and around 50 oz of water.  Working on upping the water.

so far everything is good and getting better

Congratulations on your successful surgery. Sounds like you are doing great -- working your tool. It takes real commitment, but in a few weeks you'll be progressing through to pureed and soft foods. Hang tough!
