i am almost 7 weeks out from RNY and I am not getting that full feeling anymore. Could my pouch be too big or be stretched? It used to be just a few bites- not anymore! My honeymoon period can't be over already, can it?

I doubt it at 7 weeks. Are you drinking with meals? Eating solid foods and not just yogurt and shakes? I've heard people say on here if you are taking a med like omeprezole/(Prilosec) it helps with the hunger, less acid. I also find I have big pouch days and small pouch days. Don't know why. On 'big' pouch days it gets scary... I feel I can eat so much more. Now that I can eat salads sometimes I can eat a lot of it. Don't panic, just keep doing what you are supposed to do, and weigh and measure whenever you can.

That is the oft spoken of "Head Hunger" where you just THINK you're hungry.  Drink something, find something fun to do for distraction, then after about 20 minutes see if you're really hungry.  If you're really still hungry have a high protein food (jerky, yoghurt, etc.)  Don't worry, this trial will pass.

I'd like to say when I am going thru this exact same thing, I know it when I drink too much caffine, so its head hunger . I feel like I can eat eat eat.. Took a long time to figure it out. I am in control now. Also it is true if you are drinking after each bite or two you don't get that full feeling. Also know that when you eat foods that don't consume any oil (fat) you get rehungry more often. When you consume fat it keeps you feeling full longer. ALL 3 of these are reasons you are still feeling hungry. I actually had to chuckle when I read your post. I'M HUNGRY..I was just looking through my "Hungry Girl " by Lisa Lillien Cookbook recipes.. I love All the recipes..

what is a daily menu like for you? If you are eating lots of carbs, they will make you more hungry.

are you getting 64+ounces of liquid EVERY day? Dehydration masquerades as hunger.

Thank you for your replies.

Yes, I'm drinking water- and no, I don't believe I'm eating too many carbs. I have a Premier shake for breakfast, some sort of soup or meat for lunch, and meat or a protein bar for dinner. Oh- and yogurt or a tablespoon of peanut butter for snack. I'm just transitioning to 'regular' diet from the mushy stage.
