You shouldn't use MFP's recommendation for calories. My surgeon doesn't want us counting calories so I just ignore it, but it will give you too many calories for someone who has had WLS. I realized this, but the dietician made a point of pointing that out as well, don't go by their calories. You can make custom settings.
