Weighing Food Question
I weigh everything when it's in the form I'll eat it in. Cooked, prepared, whatever. This has worked for me!

I use a scale after I've cooked the food. Further post-op when you're cooking from a recipe, I measure the ingredients with cups and measuring spoons.

It depends on why you are measuring. If it is to track calories and protein, weighing is far, far more accurate. If you are just doing it to make sure the volume isn't too much for your new stomach, measuring cups will suffice.

If it's liquid I use the measuring cup, but everything else I weigh. I always go with the cooked form.

150 lost and maintaining!
No weight but volume for dense foods is important. The pouch does not care how heavy it is, but what is the volume.
