Rosie,

You don't say what type of surgery you have had ... Clearly this isaquestion for your medical professionals.

They will need to help you balance the risk/rewards of any type of medication for your health problems.

If you have cancer, is it possible to arrange a conversation between your bariatric surgeon and oncologist?

Do you have a pain management specialist?  They should understand WLS and your options.

Best of luck.

RNY

I had RNY almost 6 years ago.  Since then I've had surgery for ruptured cervical discs, and epidurals and steroid injections in my spine and also neck area.

I do have a past history of small intestine ulcers, but no problems from the above treatment.
