HPylori Meds make me sick, now what about sugery????

I missed 3 days of work and endured 5 days of sickness and still feeling the effects from the Pylera medicine to get rid of the HPylori.  I'm waiting on the surgeon to get back with me on our next move.

Hope you are feeling better soon. I started my pre-op diet yesterday and decided to catch a cold at the some time. My surgery is scheduled for next Wednesday so I am trying to shake the cold out of my system before my pre-op testing on Friday.

BTW, I also live in Gastonia but having my surgery in Hickory. Are you going to attend any of the support groups in the area?

I'M GOING TO TRY TO ATTEND SUPPORT GROUPS.  MY HUSBAND HAD RNY LAST FEBRUARY SO HE'S BEEN A REAL LEARNING CURVE FOR US BOTH.

I did not test positive for HPylori but have a friend that did. After the round of meds they retested her and once she was cleared they scheduled surgery.  Best of luck!
