Help, I may have developed a stomach ulcer.  What do I need to do?  See my surgeon?

I would at least call your surgeon's office. I had some burning and discomfort at about 3 weeks post op.  I spoke with the surgeon's office and they called in Carafate for me and pretty much diagnosed me with a possible ulcer over the phone.  The carafate works for me...What are your symptoms?  What makes you think you have an ulcer?

Call your surgeon's office to speak with him/her or the nurse to discuss your concerns.

Why do you think you might have an ulcer?
