Sick and Surgery??

My surgery is scheduled for 2/18 everything is good to go had my last appointment 2/5. But I think I'm coming down with something I have a cough and feel a little warm basically I know my body and I feel like I'm getting sick! I'm wondering will that affect my surgery? My mom has been sick and I was around her yesterday and she was doing a lot of coughing I didn't think anything of it because I never get sick and I get my flu shot yearly. Anyhow would me being sick or just getting over a lil cold or something like that delay my surgery? I'm hoping not im so ready and I've worked so hard to get to here lost 5 more pounds for a total of 55lbs on my own im so ready I would be so disappointed if it did! 

Nikky get to the doctor and have him see if you have a infection. I did before and got over it in time and was god to go on the day of surgery

Great advice! I'm going to take myself to urgent care in the AM just to make sure it's not the flu or anything worse! Thanks!
