Unflavored protein powder for cooking?
Hi,
I'm looking for an unflavored protein powder to add to things like soups, pureed vegetables, etc. The ones I've seen online (Jay Robb's, Unjury, etc.) all look like they contain splenda and such, which probably wouldn't taste very good in a savory dish. For the cooks among us, what brand/type do you use?
Thanks so much for any guidance!!

Most protein powder clumps badly when added to hot liquid.
If you want to add it to soups or other foods, you should temper it with warm fluid first, and mix it well.
Unflavored protein powder still has a 'taste', it just has no added vanilla or chocolate or other flavor ... But it does have a sweet taste to it ..
I added it to pudding, but would not have added it to anything savory.
You have to look for unflavored protein powder - no sweeteners. Jay Robb uses Stevia - just an FYI. I use Genepro I buy it on Amazon. It can go right into hot liquids without being tempered. It also has 30g in one TBSP. The low volume needed makes it easier to mix in as well.
