I do not belong here anymore:(
Don't be discouraged. You are in the right place. This is where you belong! We all have lost and gained tons. We have all made a commitment to lose now, and we all help each other lose now and keep it off.
It is not easy, but so worth it in the end. I am only successful today. I don't worry about yesterday, or tomorrow. Only today. If I fell off the wagon yesterday, it doesn't matter because I got back on today & intend to stay on today!
You can do it again and we will all be here to help you!
Good luck.
I cannot add much being that I am relatively new to WLS (5 months) but I do want to thank you for your honesty and showing me the reality that we all face in obesity. I would say go back to the basics, the fundamentals. Right now I am enjoying my new lifestyle even though I am no where near to my goal, but I am going in the right direction as YOU ARE in coming to this forum. You're like a newbie again except with much more experience! Come on the ride with us, share with us and show us the way! An old Africam proverbs says: "If you want to travel fast-travel alone. If you want to travel far-travel together!"
This is exactly where you should be - kudos to you for taking that first step and logging back in to OH. How can we help you best? What do you need ideas/advice on?

well i regained about 40lbs from my lowest weight, and have currently shed 10 of them, and am working on the other 30. essentially, i went "back to basics". i don't mean pureed food and liquids, but small-average portions of high protein, moderate fat, low carb. no drinking when eating, and for 30-60 minutes after, and regular exercise. i also practice "clean eating" and choose primarily (but not exclusively) organic, non-processed, whole foods.
i'm not perfect 100%, but i'm disciplined most of the time. it's WAY harder than the effortless loss that happens after surgery. loss and maintenance require work. i don't like it, but i refused to hit 200lbs again. so that's what stopped me in my tracks and forced me to get my **** together.
while nutrisystem may give you a head start, its not a long term plan. i wish there was a magic bullet by there's just mindful eating and exercise. oh, and as for the pouch stretching, i still have good restriction, even after eating crap and overeating on too many occasions to count. good luck to you and stick around! this is exactly where you belong.
