Good for you for logging on. Be sure you are talking with your Dr.... you want to make sure to rule out underlying health issues, mechanical failure or changes in medications, side effects of meds as a cause for your gain and let him/her know you are wanting to lose the regain. Chart your food, drink and movement for a few weeks too... you want to get an accurate picture of what is happening on a daily basis... often some of the issues are obvious: carbs creeping up, not enough protein dense meals, portion sizes or grazing increasing, exercise deficiency, liquid calories... it's nice to have it in B&W so that you w/ assistance from dietitian, Dr. have the tools to make adjustments where needed.
I'd chat with a therapist too.
Keep coming back here, go on facebook groups there too and find a local group if you can.
Build your team. It's OK to say I tried it on my own and I need help. They get it.
Obesity is a chronic disease... chronic: long lasting, recurring, difficult to eradicate. So it will require chronic treatment, reassessing (is what I am doing working) and adjustment (what more or different can I do) for life. Time to reassess and adjust.
Best to you.

Like the others said you are right where you belong first step is get to your primary doc or even better your therapist if you have one. Sounds like you are suffering from some pretty severe depression and medication may be something that can help you. I know I didn't even realize I was depressed until I was put on an anti depressant for pain and my mood was amazingly improved. So sense you are feeling so sad and out of place those are classic depression symptoms.
Secondly I bet you were never told that with RNY you start losing the malabsorptive part of the surgery after 12-24 mos. so it makes it much easier to start regaining weight again be cause all you have to help is the smaller stomach. I agree that logging food is the best way to help with weight loss so do try that on somewhere like MyFitnessPal.com. You are far from the first to regain and there are hundreds of us who got the lap band that never lost anything, now that's depressing! You lost it once and you can lose it again even after the "honeymoon" period. Keep at it and do see if you can get some help for the depression, that will give you more strength to fight!!
NO YOU DON'T! We are not letting you go
Everyone has given you great advice and support and there is more where that comes from. I am getting back on track myself with some regain and posted this the other day.
It's some great suggestions on how to get back to the basics step by step. I hope they help.
