Aetna approved my surgery on the first try.  I go in on Wednesday for my Preop appt.  I am not sure what to expect and am as nerous as a cat.  When can I expect to have the usrugery from here.  I am thinking 2 weeks out... holy crap... as for work I am hoping to only take a week.  I have a very sedentary job, I work on a help desk.  They are very good about me having my proper breaks.

I had aetna as well. I loved that it only cost me 500 out of pocket. I am hoping you have similiar costs in your plan.

Congrats on getting approved. My pre-op appt consisted of blood work, EKG and talking with the anesthesiologist. After that i started my 2 week liquid diet before surgery. Do you know if your physician requires one?

He does require one but I am not sure how long.  I think it will be a week.  I go next week and will get my surgery date. I am getting nervous.   But I know this is the best for  me
