If you've addressed this already with your surgeon, and he's reassured you, then trust him.

oh crap why would they make changes to my meds, I had such a hard time getting stabilized 4 yrs ago I ended up in a hosp. I never want to do that again. Now I'm worried, I just cant go thru that again.

I have to disagree with that. I was definitely menopausal and still had some hormone dump. Just not as bad. I think everyone is different depending on how hormones effect you

It's common for medications to be adjusted after surgery. If that's an issue for you, maybe you're not ready for surgery. It's a big step, and there will be many changes facing you.

I too am older and didn't have any issues with hormones.  Work closely with your doctors and it does sound like support groups or seeing someone to talk to would be a positives as well!

Good luck

You would get a lot more help and advice from people but that horse makes it hard to focus on what your are saying. It's too much.

Chillipepper - Do you come here to pick on people? Does that make you feel better? Isn't this a support site ?

I intended to hit reply to the guy complaining about your horse.

You had a great question & he doesn't need to criticize your signature. Best wishes figuring out your hormone needs.
