What hormonal changes are pple saying woman get post op?

Good am, can you plz explain what hormonal changes woman get after surgery. having the sleeve 2.12.15 no period in 5 yrs, I'n 56, have severe depression, anxiety/panic disorder so I'm concerned when I hear hormonal changes, hair loss seems the least of it. 2nd guessing my self as I get closer to 2/12. Thanks

 I'm not sleeved but, like you, I am post-menopausal and I was not aware of any hormonal changes at all. Didn't lose any hair, either.  And if there is hair loss, it grows back.

No, I realised that, hence my reply! I was just saying that I have not noticed any changes. I suggested that this may be because, being post-menopausal, I have fewer hormones knocking around, you were specificslly linking it to hormones connected with menstruation.

As you lose weight hormones that were stored in your fat cells are released. It can make you emotional for a short time. Nowing it can happen means you will recognize it and deal with it.
