This is possible for anyone who doesn't take care of their health needs.  I've only read about it happening to people who don't maintain a health diet and vitamin regimen.

I haven't heard that this is an issue. Take care of your teeth; floss, brush etc

my sis n law lost her teeth she had the bypass and a myriad of problems. Now she has dentures and implants on the bottom

that doesn't mean her tooth loss is related to her bypass.  I bet many people who have had their gall bladders removed or their appendixes removed or their tonsils removed also have dentures.  that doesn't mean they have dentures because they had those surgeries.

I understand she didn't have the problems before her bypass. But not every problem you have after RNY is caused by RNY.

I am not being a wise ass.  I am pointing out a fact.
