UTI and surgery is soon!

So I am supposed to be having surgery on Wed. the 28th. Today I find out I have a UTI! ugh! Will this effect my surgery? Will they delay it due to this? *sigh*

call your doc asap, take your med for uti, fluids x 100 feel better

Probably not - they will probably just give you extra antibiotics.  

I didn't have a UTI, but my white blood cell count was elevated indicating some type of infection right before my surgery.  They just gave me mega antibiotics right in my IV, and everything has been fine.
