How to upload a pic..??

I am new to this website as of today and having a major hard time uploading a pic. It keeps saying my pics are too big...HELP please..

Welcome to OH!  We are sorry you are having an issue with adding your avatar.  Here is a link to a great tutorial showing you how to resize a photo.  I usually make it a tad smaller than the requirements of 100x100 pixels.
