Hunger Beyond Comparison!

Hello All!  I just had my WLS (Lap Band) a week ago today! Yay! I think I've made it through the worst part, but I'm so hungry now.  My doctor told me to stay on a liquid diet until next Tuesday (2 weeks total).  I'm just so sick of chicken/beef broth.  Do any of you have any other suggestions as to what I can eat at this point and stave off the hunger for a little while?  I'm eating sugar-free Jello, sugar-free popsicles, sugar-free juice, etc.  Thanks!

My liquid diet included protein shakes.  I know doctors differ but I thought that most banded people went on to shakes after a few days. Obviously if your doctor says no, then you can't! Do you have to stay on clear liquids?

Highest 290, Banded - 248   Lowest 139 (too thin!). Comfort zone 155-165.

Happily banded since May 2006.  Regain of 28lbs 2013-14.  ALL GONE!

But some has returned! Up to 175, argh! Off we go again,

My doctor's guide says that I can start back on my shakes next Tuesday.

That must be hard. As the key to what we eat is the consistency not the actual food, might it be worth phoning your medical team to ask if you can thin down a protein shake? Much more filling than clear broth!
