So you didn't lose any hair????

I'm 5 months out from my VSG. So far I have not noticed any hair loss. If you didn't lose hair, at what point did you drop the paranoia about it? Is it possible for me to start losing hair in month 7 or 8? Or am I out of the woods at month 5?

If you have not had the hair loss yet, there is a good chance that it won't happen.  Quit worrying about it.

i had shoulder long hair. I was losing hair. I cut my hair shorter.. after that - if i was losing - I did not know... I had a lot of hair to start with... so even after I "lost" some hair..my hairdresser had to layer my hair to get nice shape.. 

If it hasn't happened yet you're probably one of the lucky ones - celebrate!  LOL  I've never heard of anyone that just started losing in month 7 or 8.   Usually months 5-8 are the worst.  

Good to know, I am seven months out and have been losing hair like crazy. I am glad to hear I am almost out of the woods.  Some of it has already started growing back. Yay!

You are definitely at the end of the losing cycle if you're already seeing new growth - hurray!  

It feels pretty desperate when it covers the shower drain and your hand comes away covered with hair every morning .   

Although there is some new growth, I am still losing hair.  Whenever I brush my hair or run my fingers through it, there is a good amount of loose hair that comes out and I have to sweep my bathroom floor everyday.  But I am thankful that although it is getting very thin, I dont have huge bald spots.  Hopefully, it is almost over! I am doing great otherwise and still feel blessed.
