I am watching it and I am a little upset. like her comments about fat people...wtf..how can you say such things?

I watched about 15 minutes of it, but I had to stop. I found the woman to just be incredibly rude and disrespectful to each overweight person she interacted with.

I watched the whole thing and will watch part 2 as well.   I thought it was fascinating because if you ignore her schtick, it was full of very interesting observations and some growth in her empathy.

I think she says what a lot of skinny people think of fat people - she just makes a living saying it!

I dont know what makes me angrier, this lady being so judgemental or when someone from my 600 pound life ate a sausage and baked beans for his first meal.

I caught part of the first episode and will watch the 2nd one as well.  I know she is rude and insulting... but this is how a lot of people think.  Been there, done that with my EX-husband!  I can't really tell who the target audience is for this show - people that are overweight or people who think like Katie?  I was pleased to see that after seeing the therapist she had her own breakthrough about how she uses exercise as her emotional crutch in the same way that many overweight people use food.
