I am not sure if I can watch this or not. For those of you that may not know this woman Katie decided she was going to gain 50 pounds to show us fat people losing the weight is easy. Her first interview was fat shaming in IMO.

Her show is airing tonight

I'd rather watch a show about the dachshund that lost 3/4 of his weight. At least HE'S not a judgmental jerk.

NO and what Bette said

once upon a time I had a group to talk about Binge Eating Disorder, and later one about Clean Eating.

PM me if you are interested in either of these.

How could a woman with such an unfortunate face be so judgmental of other people?

The more I watch, the more it seems like she's trying to be provocative. Just deliberately talking crap to shock and offend.

I'm watching it.  I dint think it is a fair comparison.  50 pounds did not put her in an obese category.  Also, she obviously didn't have a food addiction and she had a very high metabolism to start.  So I don't doubt she can lose the weight quickly and easily.   if she wanted to keep it real she should take someone 100 pounds overweight, with a long history of obesity and offer them food and training and see if they can drop all their weight in 12 weeks.  They probably couldn't do it, but that fast anyway.  Eh, I would still like to watch and see if her opinion changes in the end.

Start weight:  252 pounds

High weight:  268 pounds

I won'****ch it because of this.  Plus, I don't want to give another viewer to channels like TLC when they show such crap instead of quality shows.

I watched 15 minutes and then had to quit.  I was, admittedly, amused to see the four rugby players tell her that she was too skinny and not as attractive as she would be if she had some curves.  I was mostly annoyed, however, especially by the "teaser" of her crying and saying she hated fat people for MAKING her do this.
